| 1 | Supply, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of 100 Mbps Leased Line Internet Connectivity to KFRI Over Optical Fiber | ||
| 2 | Supply, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of 100 Mbps Leased Line Internet Connectivity to KFRI Over Optical Fiber Scope of Work The scope covers the Supply, Installation, Testing, Commissioning, and Maintenance of a 100 Mbps Enterprise Internet Leased Line (ILL) delivered over a dedicated underground optical fiber network. Specifications ; Dedicated Bandwidth: 100 Mbps symmetric, uncompressed bandwidth (1:1 contention ratio) with static public IPv4/IPv6 addresses. Underground Fiber Ring Architecture: Supply, trenching, ducting, and laying of Underground Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) where applicable, in a ring topology with dual entry points to ensure complete physical path diversity. eOffice Application Access: Fast, secure, and reliable access to NIC eOffice and Government Data Centers. Low latency (under 20 ms) to ensure fast file uploads, downloads, and digital signature (e-Sign/DSC) processing. IP Addresses: Fixed Static Public IPv4 (minimum 8 usable IPs) and IPv6 block. Interface Hand-off: Standard Ethernet (RJ-45) directly into the firewall. Hardware & Management: All supplied CPE hardware shall remain the property of the Service Provider.Maintenance, repairs, firmware updates, and hardware replacements must be provided free of cost throughout the contract period. Service Provider: Internet Service Providers (ISPs) licensed by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) Core Technical Specification. . Band width & Contention Ratio: 1.1 Un contended Ratio: The allocated bandwidth is exclusively dedicated to our organization and is never shared with other users. Symmetrical speeds: Download and Upload speeds are identical Speed Range: Typically scales from 1Mbps up to 10 Gbps depending enterprise tier and last mile media. . Last-Mile & Physical Media Optical Fiber Cable (OFC): The primary and most reliable delivery method for high –speed enterprise circuits. Alternative Last-Mile: Copper (EFM- Ethernet in the First Mile), EoFTTC (Ethernet over Fibre to the Cabinet), or Radio Frequecy (RF) wireless links for redundancy. Handover Interface: Standard Ethernet (RJ45) delivered directly into the firewall. Network & Protocol Support IP Addressing: Dual-stack support for IPv4 and IPv6 Routing Protocols: Static routing or dynamic routing via BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) for multi-homing or autonomous systems. Transparency: Full- duplex transparent data flow Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Performance Benchmarks. Network Uptime: Guaranteed high availability, typically 98.5% to 99.5% or higher uptime per month. Latency: Low, predictable round- trip latency to Tier-1 peering points. Packet Loss: Maintained below 1% average over extended pings. Mean Time to Repair: Strict contractual repair windows, often 2 to 4 hours response / restoration time backed by 24/7 proactive network monitoring. Redundancy: Optical loop/ring protection on the optical fiber last mile and dual-router or dual-ISP failover configurations. Broad specification Site Survey & Infrastructure Mapping: The Service Provider shall conduct a comprehensive site visit to inspect the premises, assess physical routing paths, identify active department divisions, and map all network distribution points prior to submitting the bid Network Topology & Line Diagram: The vendor must submit a detailed Network Line Diagram / Schematic Topology showing the current system architecture, optical fiber entry path, CPE termination, and handoff points to monitor and manage bandwidth routing across divisions. User Scalability & Speed Range: Designed to serve up to 150 active simultaneous users with guaranteed throughput. The infrastructure, CPE, and last-mile fiber media must support seamless speed scaling (ranging from 100 Mbps up to 1 Gbps) via software configuration to accommodate future user expansion without physical cable replacement. | 1 | Nos |
