Aluminium Framework Specification Providing and fixing aluminium framework made from extruded aluminium sections of approved size and thickness, properly aligned, levelled and fixed to wall/ceiling/floor as required. Aluminium Section Thickness: Minimum 1.2mm (preferably 1.5mm where required) Framework Spacing: Maximum 600mm c/c or as per site requirement Fixing: Using suitable rawl plugs / dash fasteners / SS screws Finish of Aluminium: Natural anodized / powder coated as per requirement Framework shall be rigid, vibration-free and suitable to support panelling. 2. Board Specification Providing and fixing 10mm thick HDHMR board of approved make and grade. Board Type: HDHMR (High Density High Moisture Resistant) Thickness: 10mm Density: Minimum 850 kg/m For modern interior design charcoal Georgian Beading should be used. Dimension 16mm to 38 mm as per site requirement Colour / Finish should be charcoal grey ,anthracite grey or matt black with 3d embossed surface Beading shall be free from warping, swelling, cracks and shall have uniform thickness. It should be fixed to Hdhmr with help of head free nails and FDA Grade High Strength Silicone Sealant if requird 3. Fixing of HDHMR Board Board shall be fixed on aluminium framing using: SS screws / self-tapping screws. PU adhesive / Fevicol SR 998 / equivalent Proper joint alignment and tight fixing without gaps. All joints shall be finished neatly and as per approved pattern. 4. PU Polishing / Surface Finish Specification (Matte Finish) Providing and applying Matte PU finish on exposed surface of HDHMR board including: a) Surface Preparation : (i) Cleaning surface and making it dust-free. (ii) Filling joints, screw holes and imperfections. b) Primer / Sealer : Applying 2K PU sealer/primer minimum 2 coats. c) Putty / Surfacer : (i) Applying 2K PU putty/surfacer minimum 2 coats. (ii) Sanding after each coat to achieve smooth finish. d) PU Base Coat : Applying PU base coat minimum 2 coats. e) PU Matte Top Coat : (i) Applying 2K PU Matte Top Coat minimum 2 coats by spray application. (ii) Matte finish gloss level approx. 10% 25%. 5. Sanding & Finishing Standard : (i) Sanding shall be done using suitable grit papers (180/220/320/400/600). (ii) Surface shall be smooth and uniform without patch marks. (iii) Finish shall be free from pinholes, bubbles, cracks, peeling or brush marks. Total PU coating thickness shall be minimum 120 150 microns including primer, putty, base coat and top coat. 6. Workmanship & Quality : (i) Panels must be properly aligned, levelled and symmetrical. (ii) Joints shall be uniform and properly finished. (iii) No visible screw heads, unevenness or misalignment.
