| 4 | Water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab including parapet as under :- (a) Ist Course : Apply a coat of bituminous primer conforming to IS-3384@ 0.40 Kg /Sqm on prepared surface of plaster and after drying of primer, apply a coat of hot blown 85/25 grade bitumen conforming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/sqm on plastered surfaces. (b) 2nd Course : APP (Atactic Polypropylene) modified polymeric membrane, 5 layered, 3 mm thick weight not less than 3.0 Kg/Sqm with 150 Grams/Sqm non woven polyester made at centre core reinforced laid with 75 mm side overlap and 150 mm end overlap, membrane has to be laid with LPG torch and overlap sealed and finished neat, all joints and changes in direction should be covered with cement mortar 1:3 mixed with SBR latex @200ml/bag of cement and curved before laying of membarance. (c) 3rd Course : Apply a coat of hot blown 85/25 grade bitumen conforming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/sqm over membrane and dusted with dry sand @ 0.50 to 1 Kg/sqm. (i) On Non-accesible roof : After providing (a) to (c) provide aluminium paint as per manufacturer instructions. (ii) Covered fillet in PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) of required radius shall be provided at the junction of roof and vertical surface such as parapet wall/mumty around opening and treatment mentioned above shall be applied followed by a cement plaster 20mm thick in cement mortar(1:6). Note : (i) Quoted rates are inclusive of all of the above work. (ii) Water proofing treatment shall only be carried out by the authorised personal of the Company and proper record of the same shall be maintained. | 25.00 | Sqm |
| 5 | Sunken Floor treatment :- Taking down old treatment/ floor tiles/ PCC and Providing & laying of water proofing treatment to sunken portion including vertical portion by applying cement slurry mixed with acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound of make as approved including demolition and filling of sunken floor. (a) First layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 Kg/Sqm mixed with acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @0.253 Kg/Sqm. This layer allowed to air cure for 4 Hours. (b) Second layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242 Kg/Sqm mixed with acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.125 Kg/ Sqm his layer allowed to air cure for 4 Hours. (c). 50mm thick PCC at the bottom of slab and slope shall be 1:20 toward the corner of outer wall and GI pipe of 50mm dia (Med grade) be inserted at corner projecting outside 20 cm . (d). 15 mm thick plaster in CM 1:3 mixed with WP Compound shall be provided while concrete is green. (e) Joints of trap/WC/Soil pipes shall be properly sealed with sealing compound. Note :- (i). Concrete for sunken slabs shall be mixed with WP compounds as manufacturdrs instructions before carrying out water proofing treatment the sunken slab slab shall be tested with water for 48 hrs for any leakage/dampeness is seen in ceiling below, then treatment is again carried out to RCC slab and it is again tested (Water proof compound rate will not be paid separately). (ii). Only floor area shall be measured for payment purpose. (iii). Treatment shall only be done from approved manufacturer & name of manufacturer required to be approved from GE before treatment. | 20.00 | Sqm |
