| 2 | Engine Servicing /Gen overhauling :- (a) Checking the lubricant oil, topping up & changing filters if required (b) Checking the lubricant level and replacing if required (c) Checking of alternater, battery charging, fanbelt and adjusting/renewing if required (d) Checking/adjusting of sensers / controls of the Engine (e) Cleaning the cylinder head, lever, lube oil, gudgen pins etc (f) Draining fuel filter bowels to remove water/sediments and refixing with new gaskets after cleaning/ renewing the filters | ||
| 3 | (g) Checking and tightening all external fasteners and arresting all leakages by renewing deffective nuts bolts washers etc whereever required (h) Checking and arresting leakages by tightening all lube and fuel/ hose connections by renewing defective washers (i) Checking of air filters subject to 250 hrs running or six months whichever is earliest for renewal (j) Cleaning of air filter assembly (k) Renewal of all external rubber parts including radiator hose pipes, sir clips/clamps with nuts bolts etc (l) Arresting all water /lubricant/fuel leakages (m) Checking of all engine parameters and ensuring trouble free performance (n) Removing US spares and fixing of new spares including testing etc | ||
| 4 | Alternator Servicing :- (a) Checking lubricant in the bearings (b) Checking electrical excitation system and repairing if required (c) Checking alternator insulation values and tightning the electrical connections etc (d) Checking circuits of various connections (e) Cleaning the slip rings/brushes etc (f ) Removing US spares and fixing of new spares including testing etc | ||
| 5 | Note: (i) Spare parts shall be measured and paid separately under respective items as shown below. (ii) Labour charges for dismantling / Taking down and replacement /refixing of new spare parts as when required as deemed to be included in unit rate quoted. (iii) Labour charges for cleaning of inner and outer surfaces and all components with clean dry cloth deemed to be included in unit rate quoted. (iv) Rate including drain out of old unserviceble engine oil, coolant etc from DG set deemed to be included in quoted rate. (v) Charges for Major repairs / top overhauling of engine, rewinding of alternator, alternator major overhauling due to normal wear & tear will be out of scope of the work. However the damages caused due to negligence of the contractor will be made good without any extra cost by the contractor. Cost of minor spares required for proper operation of DG set and Control panel shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (vi) DHPP (N) required at the time of mainteance/testing will be issued by MES. (vii)(c) U/s spares shall be measured under Schedule of Credit (viii) AMF Panel Servicing will be measured anf paid seperately |
