| 5 | Providing T&P, Material & Labour for complete desilting, cleaning and extraction of sewage treated effluent, and dense sludge/mud from treated sewage/effluent storage sump/sludge tank/oxidation pond having depth of sump upto 6 mtrs from ground level and depth of sludge is not exceeding 1.5 mtr. The item includes deploying heavy duty municipal cleaning equipment, such as truck mounted high vacuum jetting-cum-suction machines capable of pulling a vertical lift exceedng 6 metres or hydraulic trolley mounted grab buckets, breaking and dislodging compacted floor silt using high velocti jetting, extraction of all accumulated sludge/mud and transportation and decanting of sewage slurry at any place dircted by Garrison Engineer upto 05 KMs from the well/sump. Details of sumps to be cleaned are as below :- (a) oxidaton pond/treated effluent storage sumps at STP- 02 Nos (b) Sludge collection beds Note :- (a) The item may include working under foul/hazardous conditiions (toxic enviornment having methane. Hydrogen sulphide, CO, CO2), therefore contractor shall provide required safety kit including oxygen cylinder, face mask, safety belt/harness etc to the workers and to follow absolute adherence to Class-A confined space entry (CSE) Protocols. The rates shall be quoted accordingly, nothing extra will be paid on this account. (b) The Machine &man power shall be employed by the contractor in such a manner that the cleaning is completed in all respect within two days. (b) Any damage caused to the tank during cleaning shall be made good by the contractor without any extra cost. (c) The contractor shall make the necessary arrangements to block the incoming sewage pipe line of sewage sump and sewage collection sump before starting the above work and opening the same after cleaning the sump for which no extra payment will be made. (d) The contractor shall make the necessary arrangements for removing the sewage waste from main holes nearest to the sewage sumps at the time of the cleaning of the sumps for which no extra payment will be made. (e) No extra payment will be made for transportation of pumping sets or any other machinery required for the above work. (f) Cost of removing of excavated material and taking it to a suitable place as decided by Garrison Engineer exceeding 1.5Km but not exceeding 5Km deemed to be included in quoted rates. (g) Dewatering to be carried out by the contractor. (h) The contractor shall submit cleaning plan/schedule to Engineer-in-charge for approval, atleast 07 days prior to commencement of cleaning | 2122.25 | Cum |
