| 2 | Repair and rectification of electrical issues in heavy equipments and transportaion vehicles at the Heavy Equipment & Workshop Dept., FACT Cochin Division Work involves: The Contractor shall provide a qualified and skilled Auto Electrician, preferably ITI certified or possessing equivalent technical qualifications, with a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Auto Electrician for Heavy Equipment, Light Vehicles, and Transport Vehicles in a reputed Public or Private Company or Reputed automobile Workshop. The Auto Electrician shall be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair works on Rough Terrain and other Cranes, Forklifts, Front-End Wheel Loaders (Payloaders), Skid Steer Loaders, Locomotives, and Light Motor/Transport Vehicles (in CD) maintained by our department. These vehicles and equipment are deployed for material handling and maintenance activities in production plants. The scope of work includes tasks such as battery replacement or recharging, alternator and starter repairs or replacements, wiring repairs, and replacement of lights, warning lamps, horns, wipers, and other related components. This activity shall be carried out only during the day shift, i.e., from 08:00 to 16:00 hours.(08.00 Hrs shall be considered as One man day ) | 180 | ManDay |
| 3 | Repair and Rectification of Electrical Issues in Heavy Equipment Vehicles During Odd Hours (On-Call Jobs, during Evening & Night shifts) at the Heavy Equipment & Workshop Department, FACT Cochin Division Work involves: The Contractor shall provide a qualified and skilled Auto Electrician, preferably ITI certified or possessing equivalent technical qualifications, with a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Auto Electrician for Heavy Equipment, Light Vehicles, and Transport Vehicles in a reputed Public or Private Company or reputed automobile workshop. The deputed Auto Electrician shall be responsible for carrying out emergency on call auto electrical works of Heavy equipments/transportaion vehicles during evening & Night Shifts ( Evening 5pm to morning 8 am) in case of any breakdown of equipments in line due to electrical faults. Under this activity, the Contractor will receive urgent calls from the Shift Engineer or Technician to attend to breakdown maintenance of the vehicle or equipment. The Auto electrician shall reach the site immediately to attend the work to ensure the smooth continuation of the shift duties,after rectifying the electrical issues. To prevent production delays and dispatch interruptions, the auto electrician deployed by the Contractor shall be available in nearby areas during odd hours, i.e., from 17:00 hours to 08:00 hours (evening and night shift) to reach the site in minimum time in case of any emergency on call. This activity is strictly limited to the aforementioned odd-hour timings and shall be performed on an on-call basis as and when required. | 60 | No |
