| 1 | Preventive and comprehensive maintenance /Annual maintenance contract of complete fire detection and alarm system(s) installed at multistory HQ TG EME, CICP, COD, PMEG, CAMS, DGIS , Signal Enclave and CIDSS, Wardec Centre in delhi cantt area in reliable, safe and efficient manner using latest techniques & expertise consultancy by regularly examining the sensor/detector, Main fire alarm control panels, Repeater panels, Hooters, MCP, Sirens etc of various type / capacity / make, including making the non-functional parts of fire alarm system into fully functional condition, attending day to day complaint / fault(s) in general shift of 08 hrs every day incl sunday & holiday, including quarterly cleaning of the detectors and monthly joint testing/inspection of the complete fire alarm system, including replacement of minor items such as wire, lugs, nut, bolts, screws, electronic circuit, chip etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr- in- charge. Note : (i) The contractor will have to employ minimum 01 Nos of Fire technician & 01 No Helper every day incl Sunday and holiday to attend day to day complaints as well as periodical / routine maintenance and joint inspection / testing of fire alarm system(s) installed at various locations / areas and submit the feedback on daily basis to the Engineer-in-Charge/ concerned JE E/M. (ii) The tradesmen/Technician (s) should be having minimum 3 years work experience of respective trade. (iii) In case, additional manpower other than mentioned here-in-above, will be required for smooth functioning of fire alarm system or attending day to day complaints or periodical / routine maintenance or joint inspection / testing of fire alarm system(s) installed at various locations / areas, the contractor shall arrange the same without any extra cost to Deptt. | 11 | Each Month |
| 2 | (iv) The comprehensive / preventive / periodical maintenance includes quarterly joint inspection / testing of entire fire alarm system(s), in presence of rep of user. The joint inspection / test report duly signed by contractor and MES representative will be submitted along with RAR/payment. If contractor fails to complete the joint inspection / testing of fire alarm system(s), the compensation / penalty of Rs. 1000.00 (Rupees One Thousand only) per day shall be recovered from the contractor s dues. (v) The complete fire alarm system(s) will be handed over to contractor in existing condition and no claim on this effect will be accepted at any stage. Hence, the bidder is advised to visit the site to assess the quantum of work to be carried out in this contract and quote their rates accordingly. (vi) The cost of all kind of repair /servicing/ replacement of defective equipment/devices and other minor parts/spares or cell/ batteries as and when required for making the entire fire alarm system(s) fully functional, is deemed to be included in quoted rates and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor on this effect. However, the Cost of major equipment / devices shall be measured & paid separately under relevant item of this Schedule. (vii) All the complaint / fault (s) will be addressed within 02 hrs from the time of receipt of complaint. If, contractor or his tradesmen fails to attend the complaint within 02 hrs from the time of receipt of complaint verbaly or telephonically, the compensation/penalty of Rs. 500.00 (Rupees Five Hundred only) per complaint per hr for first 04 hr and after that Rs. 1000 (Rupees one thousand only) per complaint each day (i.e 24 hrs ) shall be recovered from the contractor s dues. (viii) The cost of Re-Progamming / formatting / Data Entry of Fire alarm control Panel shall deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate. (ix) The contractor shall provide all the necessary T&P, uniform and stationery such as Attendance Register, Periodical Maintenance Register, log book etc to the technician without any extra cost to Dept. | ||
