| 1 | Re-building of leakages of M.S rising Main of specification 600/500 mm diameter laid from CPS Muthi to Roop Nagar stage-II at required places along with allied works of CPS Muthi by way of opening of washout valves/blind flange near delivery maniflod to empty the rising main. Carriage of DG welding set, gas cylinder, welding leads, and other allied material required for execution of work from workshop using mechanical transport /skill labours.The job also includes laying of cable and making of earthing arrangement at actual site of work . Making of proper space around pipe by earth work excavation by way of digging of earth using excavator/skill labor, clearing bushes and doing necessary arrangements wherever required for opening of wash out to empty the pipe. Cutting the M.S pipe near CPS park by welding to provide the necessary repairs the leakage of the heavy duty MS Pipe on leaked portion by welding with two layers by using superior quality welding electrodes from inside/outside the pipe to make it watertight/sealed and properly chipping off the joint after each successive weld to remove any air pockets and then reinforcing the joint by proper welding across the welding joint. The The job further includes repairs to pumping unit no. 12 suction line around the pumping room wall by making proper space around M.S pipe leaked portion periphery by way of pipe cutting , welding the pipe in two layers by using superior quality welding electrodes, properly chipping off joints after each successive weld to remove any air pockets. Complete job includes shifting of excavated material from site of work to safe area in order to avoid any inconvenience. The Job also includes shifting of welding material/accessories to site near JDA Flat for fixing the leakages and making proper space for safe welding and thereafter welding the leaked portion with welding electrodes in two layers. After completion, job requires testing the MS pipe on full load condition, checking of any leakages at sites.
