The complete package shall be housed in cubicle construction of size not less than 2100 mm x 900 mm x 900 mm fabricated out of 2 mm thick CRCA sheet with hinged lockable doors, dust and vermin proof powder coated of approved shade after 7 tank treatment process with proper forced ventilation arrangement for VF drive, supplying and fixing of required contactors complete as required Safety shutdowns with VSD shall include: a) VSD shutdown - requesting fault data b) VSD - stop contacts open c) VSD - 110% motor overload d) VSD - high phase A, B, C inverter heat-sink temperature e) VSD - high converter heat sink temperature The VSD starter will vary the compressor motor speed by controlling the frequency and voltage of electrical power to the motor. The adaptive capacity control logic shall automatically adjust motor speed and compressor pre-rotation vane position independently for maximum part-load efficiency by analysing information fed to it by sensors located throughout the chiller. The VSD shall restrict harmonic generation from VSD by providing Active Harmonic Filters as per IEEE 519. Drive shall be PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) type utilising IGBTs (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) with a power factor of not less than 0.95 at all loads and speeds.
