| 2 | Aluminium doors shall be manufactured from high-quality aluminium alloy extruded sections (6063-T5/T6), straight, smooth, and free from defects. The door frame and shutter profiles shall have a minimum thickness of 1.5 mm, suitable for residential or commercial application as specified. The doors shall be powder-coated to a minimum thickness of 60 80 microns or anodized to a minimum of 15 micronsi n the approved colour and finish. Glazing shall be 5 mm or 6 mm Plain glass (clear), securely fixed with EPDM rubber gaskets and weather strips to ensure air and water tightness. All hardware, including hinges, locks, handles and accessories, shall be heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant and suitable for aluminium doors. Installation shall be carried out true to line, level and plumb with frames securely fixed using stainless steel fasteners and all joints sealed with neutral cure silicone sealant.
