(minimum) and width 22 ft (maximum) and 12 feet (minimum), and ridge/higher eave height 12 ft. and Lower Eave Height 10 ft. near DG Set at RTIC Building Jammu by way of excavation/digging of earth for making a concrete foundation block of size 2 x2 x 2 for each vertical column followed by fabrication, erection and embedding of 08 No. vertical channels/columns of size 100x100x4 mm M.S. sq. pipe and 01 no. column of Rectangular hollow section 75x50x3 mm and their ends welded to MS plate of size 200mm x 200 mm x 10 mm with 4 anchor bolts (M16) embedded/grouted in RCC column footing (mix ratio of 1: 2: 4)erected up to Eave height of 12 ft. (on the Higher side) and 10 ft.(on the lower side). Welding work must be carried out using high quality electrodes in conformance to IS standards. The job further constitutes fabrication, erection and fitting/welding of mono pitch (single slope for runoff) roof main frame structure made out of 03 No.single slope roof truss frames , 04 no. ISMC 75 Rafters and 01 no. RHS 100X50X3.60 rafter for top chord and bottom chord, 150x150x6 mm Gusset plates ,and Intermediate strut &Tie members(for triangulation and stiffness) made out of MS Angle of size 40 mm x 40 mm x 5mm, 08 No. Purlins of variable lengths 28 ft.(maximum) and 13ft. (minimum) made out of MS square pipe Heavy duty ISI 50x50x3.2 mm each fixed above the top chord at a gap of 3.14 ft. approx. and rafters at a gap of 7ft approx. The job also includes roofing with PPGI roof sheets and PPGI Wall cladding (both 0.5 mm thick) joined/held with the help of fasteners, ties .The PPGI sheet roofing should be over extended on the all sides and overlapped effectively so as to prevent seepage of water inside the shed. The Job also comprises bracing of shed with cross/lateral/knee braces with MS angle 40x40x5 mm. Fabrication of one no. double leaf doorhaving size 08 ft. x 6ft. with MS angle frameMS Angle 40x40x5 mm, vertical and lateral braces using MS flat 40x6 mm and PPGI sheet cover (0.5 mm thick) and should have the provision of hinges, handles, tower bolts etc.Providing and fitting of fasteners viz. J type/M16 (Grade 8.8) anchor bolts/hooks, self-drilling/self tapping hexagonal head, galvanized screws/rivets, nuts, washers of suitable size along with EPDM rubber-bonded limit set washers(anti leak)and silicone sealant for water proofing and penetration.Curing for minimum 15 days must be ensured after completion of the shed. All steel sections (except PPGI sheets) are to be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel over the anti corrosive red oxide primer coat. The firm may add any structural member for providing/increasing strength of the shed.
