| 3 | Note for SI item No 1 and 2:- (i) The cutting /trimming of vegetation shall be done to maintain height of grass n exc 150mm above natural ground during entire contract period.Periodicity of cutting/trimming shall be as reqd and as directed by user. (ii) The contractor and his employees ,workmen etc and his material,machines etc will be allowed to enter through and leave from only such gates and at such times as the concern GE or authorities/user of the restricted areas may at thieir sole discretion permit and follow all traffic rules in and out of resticted area . (iii) The contractor shall remain liable for the labour laws i.e. social security 2020,occupational safety,health and working condition code 2020,industrial relation code 2020. (iv) The contractor shall liable to provide safety coveralls,clear safety glass /clear safety face sheild wellington boots to his work-people or employees and also provbide work in progress board/pillars for working area and shall obey traffic rules as directed by IAF authorities duriong progress of work at Runway. The contractor shall remain liable for payment of wages or other moneys to his work-people or employees under the payment of wages act ,1936,Minimum wages Act 1948,Emplyoers Liability Act 1938,workmen Compensation Act 1923. (v)The contractor shall maintain a register for cutting grass and cleaning and get it signed by engineer in charge and users and samer shall be submitted while claiming payment.payment shall be made as per cleaning/trimming of grass actually done at site. |
