| 4 | Provisional Sum for Temporary diversion, maintenance and restoration of utilities, supporting work for protection and retention of utilities and other miscellaneous work. The contractor shall carry out the works relating to the utilities in consultation with the utility agencies and the utility works shall be carried out through the approved contractors of the respective utility agencies (CMWSSB, TNEB, BSNL etc.). The Contractor shall be paid as per the actual executed quantities, based on the approved estimate of the respective department or as per the current Schedule of Rates (SOR) of the concerned utility department or market rates (In case the rates are not available in SOR).
