| 1 | This work includes the supply, fabrication and erection of a welded Composit-type bridge structure of the specified span and width, as per the approved General Arrangement Drawing (GAD), using structure steel, all steel plates used in fabrication shall conform to Fe 490/E350 (IS2062), expect ISBM 600, which shall be of Fe 410B grade, IRS-B1-2001 (letest amendment) and other relevant IS/IRC codes and specification. The work encompasses the erection and launching of the bridge including bearign using cranes or any other approved method, based on site conditions and shall be carried out on the sub-structure using the contractor's labor, fuel, consumables, machinery, tools & plants, material, lead and lift ensuring full compliance with specifications and directions from the Engineer.(Span P7-P8 Canal portion) Note:- 1- The Contractor shall submit the detailed fabrication/erection drawing and launching scheme along with necessary design calculations for approval to railways before the erection and launching of the girder. 2- Temprary supports if any required for the erection/launching shall be erected after the approval of the Engineer. Nothing extra shall be payble on this account. 3- The contractor shall take all safety precaution with the Engineer as per extant rules/guidelines. Nothing extra shall be payable on this account. 4- Notwithstanding the above, the contractor shall be fully resposible for any mishappening that may occur as a result of negligent working of the contracor. The contractor has to take every precautionary measure for the safety of running the train during and after the launching of the girder. 5- The rate includes launching under traffic blocks wherever required. However, the rate does not include the cost of possession of traffic/OHE block. 6- The Block required shall be arranged by the railway at the request of the contractor. The duration of the block shall be as approved by the Engineer. If the block granted is not made available duc to unavoidable reasons, nothing extra/ no compensation shall be paid. 7- However penalties, if any, levied by Indian Railways caused due to any careless working or otherwisc of violation of the Terms and conditions of the track/OHE block, shall be payable by the contractor. 8- The cost of all tests & 3rd Party mandatory Railway inspections & approvals as per the prevailing code for acceptance shall be borne by the contractor. 9- The rate is inclusive of fabrication, transportation, erection, launching & fabrication of all types of bearings, battens, bracings, ties, stiffeners, packing, diaphragms, painting/metalizing, shop rivets/welding, T&F/HSFG bolts, all types of Nut/Bolt, drifts, shop welds, templates, jigs, fixtures, materials, labor, major & minor machines, consumables and any other centering shuttering, launching nose, etc. i.e. quoted rates are from procurement to launching nothing extra shall be paid against quoted rate. 10- The payment shall be made on the theoretical weight of the main components only. No deduction for holes and no addition for rivets bolts/welds etc shall be made. No wastages shall be paid extra. 11- Payment Schedule:- (i) Receipt of material at site: - 40%, (ii) Fabrication of girders- 20% (iii) Erection/Launching- 20% (iv) Completion in all respects-20% | 195.42 | MT |

No additional payment shall be made to the Contractor upon change in specifications of steel planets as per letest RDSO requirements, if any. The work encompasses the erection and launching of the bridge including bearign using cranes or any other approved method, based on site conditions and shall be carried out on the sub-structure using the contractor's labor, fuel, consumables, machinery, tools & plants, material, lead and lift ensuring full compliance with specifications and directions from the Engineer.
