| 1 | Comprehensive Maintenance for a period of 09 Months and servicing of DG Set of capacity 500 KVA at SU-30 Hanger Make CUMMINS comprising Diesel Engine with all parts & Control panel by carrying out the following jobs as given below:- (a) Draining out engine oil from the chamber cleaning the chamber thoroughly and refilling the oil pan with new engine oil to it s required level if found unusable ,twice during the contract period . (b) Draining out of diesel from tank , cleaning the tank thoroughly and refilling the drained out diesel (c) Supply and replacment of fuel filter set (minimum two times filter to be change during the contract period, first time soon after commencement of contract and later after expiry of 6 month ). (d) Supply and replcement of lubricating oil filter set (minimum two times filter to be change during the contract period, first time soon after commencement of contract and later after expiry of 6 month ). (e) Supply and replacement By pass filter set (minimum two times filter to be change during the contract period, first time soon after commencement of contrcat and later after expiry of 6 month ). | 9.00 | Each Job per month |
| 2 | (f) Checking & cleaning air cleaner(g) Check and topping up coolant level (h) Checking the starting batteries and filling with electrolyte/Distilled water to maintain the required specific gravity. Cleaning of Battery terminals & applying petroleum jelly to battery terminal posts & brass connectors (j) Checking and cleaning exhaust system including removing of deposited carbon in exhuast pipe. (k) Adjustment /setting of V Belt and fan belts to the desired tension, tightening all the bolts and nuts to the required torque etc, cleaning the DG Set with accessories as prescribed by the manufacturer . (l) Checking, cleaning and servicing of self starter, Alternator, sensors etc. (m) Testing of DG set at connected load all as directed by the Engr in charge. (n) Replacement of burnout Copper/aluminium thimbles existing size by crimping with crimping tool properly completely. (o) Monthly maintenance to be carried out by OEM certified agencies or any certified agencies as approved by GE and shall be done as per OEM recommendation. | ||
| 3 | Note : (a) Fuel filter, oil filter, bypass filter, water filter, petroleum jelly, waste cloth, seal, gaskets, Belt of all type etc are to be provided by the contractor and the cost is deemed to be included in quoted rate. Fuel filter, oil filter, bypass filter, water filter, hose pipes ,fuel Pipe if found damaged ,petroleum jelly, waste cloth, seal, gaskets , Fan Belt/V belt of all type etc are to be provided by the contractor and the cost is deemed to be included in quoted rate. (b) Air Filter ,Coolant and Engine Oil of recommended make for topping up shall be measured and paid saparetly (c) Engine oil /Spares/filters of make recommended by OEM certified agencies or any agencies as approved by GE will only be used for servicing of DG set (d) Any other spares/parts required for making DG functional shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of the sch as a supply only and prime cost sum . (e) Service report duly sign by rep of OEM and shall submit to the Dept for processing of payment . | ||
