| 1 | Butyl Rubber lining with Pre-Vulcanized Butyl Rubber Calendered Sheets to a thickness of 5mm The Contractor shall be responsible for the supply of all necessary materials, including pre-vulcanized butyl rubber calendered sheets (2.5mm thick suitable for cold bonding), required adhesives, solvents, curing agents, etc. The Contractor shall manage all logistics including packing, forwarding, transportation, loading/unloading, and storage at the FACT Cochin Division site. The scope of work further encompasses the complete application of this material via the cold bonding method onto the surfaces of the Phosphoric Acid Unloading Tank at PAT, FACT Cochin Division. Surface preparation shall be executed by shot/grit blasting to achieve a clean metal finish, followed by the application of the rubber lining to a total finished thickness of 5mm, achieved in two layers of 2.5mm each, by cold bonding method on the entire bottom plate, shell plate, inside roof area, baffles, manholes, nozzle pipes, dummies, flanges, etc. All application, cold bonding, curing, inspection, testing, site supervision, and safety requirements must strictly adhere to the detailed scope of work specified in the attached Specification Sheet No. 030B of FACT-CD, Special Conditions of Contract, and General Conditions of Contract.
