Notes for ser item No 4 & 5: (i) Preparation of mix in hotmix plant, spreading by self propelling mechanical paver and rolling and compaction by set of rollers as specified in particular specifications shall be carried out. Hot mix plant may be installed at any distance but the contractor shall be responsible and has to maintain the required temperature of mix under all conditions till it is laid and compacted. Unit rate against these itrems shall include for carrying out the works with depolyment of these machinery for which nothing extra shall be payable and no delay in completion of work shall be acceptable. (ii) Central computerised Hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of constituents for preparation of bituminous macadam and the same shall be laid with mechanical sensor paver all as specifiedand directed. (iii) Over newly provided bituminous macadam surfaces, further bituminous work, if ordered, shall be provided simultaneously after provision of bituminous macadam & n separate payment for provision of tack coat for bonding between the bituminous macadam & further bituminous work necessiated due to the time period gap or otherwise shall be made for separately. (iv) The Design mix shall be carried out from the Zonal lab/ Govt approved lab/Govt Engr College as approved by GE and design mix shall be got approved by GE before execution of the work. (v) The cost of all the above aspects shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of above item. | 759.20 | 10 Sqm |
