| 1 | Provisioning of a maintenance Van/ Pickup type Van/ TATA Yodha, CC 4x2, VX, BS VI or equivalent of any other make. The purpose of deployment of Van is primarily for the following three purposes. a) Regular inspection of Cantonment fund assets available on Public roads on As is where is basis shall be deemed to be included in this RFP like Footpaths, Sign Boards, Direction Boards, overhead gantries, delineators, Central verges, MS Grills, Gratings, Manholes, Kerb stones, interlocking tiles, pavements footpath tiles of any nature, bell mouths, dustbins, Urinals, surface drains, storm water drains, waiting sheds, bus stops & to report any kind of damages, natural wear tear, damages due to accidents for timely repairs. For the purpose of inspection of road the contractor shall provide one or more supervisors for inspection & reporting purposes as per his calculations & estimations. b) Watch & ward of electrical installations on public roads, on As is where is basis , shall be deemed to be included in this RFP viz. Ornamental Electrical poles with Luminar, Octagonal Street lighting poles with Luminar, High mast lights with Luminar and control panels, Street lighting poles of any kind with fittings and fixtures, electrical control panels, electrical switches, MCBS, MCCBs, Kiosk box, Electrical cables complete. Any theft/loss to electrical infrastructure on the roads included in the RFP shall be made good by the contractor under his own arrangements and at his own cost. (However, routine wear-tear of electrical poles and installations and their maintenance shall be payable as per directions issued by the Engineer-in-charge under Schedule A Section IV). c) Watch & ward of Cantonment fund assets on public roads included in contract on As is where is basis , against any theft & consequent damages. For the purpose of watch & ward of CF Assets the contractor shall be allowed to deploy the inspection Van for night patrolling. The inspection Van shall be provided with security staff. The requirement of security staff & number of security personnels to be deployed for watch & ward purposes shall be at the sole discretion of the bidder as per his calculations & estimation to keep watch & ward on all public roads included in the Scope of work. However if any theft or damage is caused to Cantonment assets & loss thereof shall be borne by the bidder & the contractor shall be required to make good the loss, damages etc. under his own arrangement and at his own cost & no extra payment shall be payable to the contractor, as protection of CF assets & their watch & ward shall be the sole responsibility of bidder. d) The quoted rates for providing maintenance/ inspection Van as per Scope of contract given on page 19-22 of these documents shall include cost of i. Running/maintenance of Van (in shift wise duty) ii. Fuel & Lubricants, Repairs/breakdown repairs of van iii. Drivers as per shift wise duties iv. Remuneration payable to site supervisions for inspection and maintenance of assets. v. Security personnels for Round the clock watch & ward of assets as per bidder own assessment & calculations including providing security gadgets. vi. Any other Ancillary expenditure towards running of van, engagement of supervisors & watch & ward staff vii. Cleaning of chocked drainage pipes at the periodicity of 15 days Note: a) A complete list of all the CF assets shall be prepared & shall be handed over to the successful bidder for watch & ward round the clock & repairs as per contract provisions by the successful bidder. b) For payment purpose the contractor shall be required to submit log book & GPS data of daily running of Vans. Further the contractor shall be required to deploy additional staff to compensate for weekly off, of the staff engaged by him under the contract, all inclusive. c) In case of any break down to Van, the bidder shall be required to deploy alternative Van to ensure providing of services uninterrupted. | 1.000 | Per year |
