| 1 | Electric Motor Driven Hydrant Pump Location - Plant Room - Hall of Science Space - Supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning of an electrically driven fire pump set suitable for negative suction conditions, including a centrifugal horizontal split-case fire pump with cast iron casing, bronze impeller, and stainless steel shaft, capable of delivering Rated Flow: 1250 LPM @ 80 Meter Head, MOTOR: 75 HP , 2700 to 2900 RPM, 3-Phase, IE2 With Gland Pack, Coupling, Coupling Guard, Base Frame. (Fire Pump Specification- NFPA 20 Compliance.) complete with proper connection to suction and delivery line, and including bypass arrangement for testing of pumps as per the requirement. Suitable mechanical seal with mounting arrangement shall be included, having a name plate indicating suction, delivery, head, discharge, stages, RPM and direction of rotation, 3-phase, 415V TEFC induction motor with IP55 protection and Class F insulation. The system shall include a foot valve, Y-strainer, flexible coupling with guard, common baseplate with anti-vibration mounts, overhead priming tank (minimum 500 litters) with float and isolation valves to maintain flooded suction, along with necessary suction and delivery piping, isolation valves, interconnection cables, and all labour for installation, grouting, and commi ssioning. The pump shall be capable of delivering at least 150percent of rated flow at 65percent of rated head, and the shut-off head shall not exceed 120percent of rated head.- Squirrel cage, induction motor, TEFC type suitable for 415 + 10percentV, 3 phase, 50 Hz, AC supply, of suitable HP rating for the above pump with synchronous speed of 2700 to 2900RPM conforming to IP 55 protection & class 'F' insulation. The motor shall conform to IS 325 1978 (up to date) with flexible coupling and coupling guard .- Factory Fabricated Common base plate for mounting pump and motor fabricated of mild steel channel as per manufacturer's recommendation with heavy duty Anti Vibration pads (heavy duty). Grouting bolts to be provided and installed by vendor at his cost- Flexible Coupling and coupling guard for direct coupling of pump and motor.- Drain Pipe with Valve- Rate should include interconnection cables and Cable box if reqd for cable conn. | 2 | The Automatic fire pump panel shall be a combined starter and control panel for all pumps (main, jockey, and standby), fabricated from minimum 14 SWG sheet steel, seven-tank process treated and powder coated, with a minimum IP52 protection rating (IP54 preferred for pump rooms). The panel shall include star-delta starters (or soft starters where required), rated appropriately for each motor HP and approved by CFO/NFPA guidelines, with integrated electrical protections including: Single Phase Preventer (SPP), Earth Leakage Relay (ELR), Overload Relay (OLR), Short Circuit (SC) protection, Phase Failure/Reverse protection, and ON/OFF indicator lamps for each pump. Bus bars shall be aluminium, sized at minimum 0.8 A/mm, color-coded and PVC sleeved. The panel shall include Ammeter, Voltmeter, selector switches, and digital kWh meter. The panel must have minimum 25kA short-circuit fault withstand capacity. Incoming shall be via suitably rated MCCB/ACB with required terminal connectors for earthling and power. Panel shall accept inputs from pressure switches, float switches, and flow switches with control wiring in ISI-marked PVC conduits. All power and control cabling from panel to pumps (including laying, termination, and earthling) using Aluminium XLPE armoured or Copper XLPE armoured cables as per OEM recommendation shall be in the vendors scope. Hot-dip galvanized ladder-type cable trays (minimum 16 gauge) with supports shall be used for routing cables.
