| 1 | Note :- 1) Bidder shall provide hard barricading as per given specification without any extra cost if required as per instructions of EIC. Providing & erecting high temporary barricading at site made of min 40X40X6mm angle iron or 50X50X3mm hollow MS tube posts/ horizontal members/bracings covered with 1.63 mm thick MS sheet. The sheet shall be fixed with 30x5 mm MS flat by suitable welding/riveting. Suitable arrangement shall be made to fix the barricading to avoid from overturning by providing 250mm long expansion fasteners at both ends. The work shall be executed as per drawings /directions of EIC which includes writing & painting, glow lamps, reflective signs as directed by EIC. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously including shifting of barricading as many times as required during the execution of the entire work. The barricading provided shall remain to be the property of the contractor on the completion of work. 2.) All safety & security regulations shall be followed strictly as per specifications & conditions of contract. 3.) The contractor shall provide sleeveless Jackets to the workers in required pattern, colour showing name of contractor with address and telephone number as approved by the Engineer in charge. All the workers must wear the same while on duty. 4.) Contractor has to make his own arrangements for regulating the work by providing sign boards for Diversion, Men at Work. Danger, Work in progress, Diversions/ Change of Directions etc. at his own cost during exectutuion of work as directed by the Department. 5) Removal of vegetation, grass shall be part of the earthwork and no extra payment will be made for the same. 6) Rolling of earthwork shall be carried out using 8 tone vibratory roller at no extra cost. 7) In structural steel work, bolts and welding will not be measured for the payment and shall be included in the quoted rate. Only, the weight of steel sections used as per relavant IS codes shall be considered for payment. Wastage will not be measured. 8) Proctor Density Test and Field Dry Density Test shall be carried out for subbase/grade slab/flooring and road works for subgrade and GSB at no extra cost. Contractor shall ensure the Field Dry Density is as per the requirements of relavant IS/IRC/Morth Specifications. 9) Preparation of Sub-grade including providing required camber/slope for road/floor works shall be done at no extra cost. 10) Leak test including filling of water and empty the tank after test shall be carried out for the tank as per IS 3370 for requirements of watertightness, corrective action to ensure watertightness of the structure if any shall be done as per directions of EIC at no extra cost. 11) All the items are inclusive of single/double scaffolding for all depths and heights and no extra cost will be paid for the same. 12) All items are inclusive of working under and in foul positions, muddy area etc., including pumping of water and no extra cost shall be paid for the same. 13) Contractor shall provide one nos of Construction Distribution board along with incoming power cable of required length as per NFC specifications for obtaining the temporary power supply for construction works. 14) Contractor shall fill the requisition form for providing temporary power supply and details of any equipment to be used at site (dewatering pump, cutting machine, drilling machines, etc. shall be indicated in the proforma annexed to requisition form. 15) Contractor shall employ a licensed electrician to carryout electrical connections /terminations, measurement of earth pit resistance, insulation resistance of their installation and intimating the same to the department & also earthing shall be ensured throught existance of power supply. 16) Intimation shall be given after completion of work for disconnection of supply and safe isolation of DB with last energy meter reading. | ||
