| 1 | Supplying, fabricating and erecting / fixing in position the piping in yard, at all elevations from (underground up to seven meters) generally as indicated in the relevant drawings. Following specified materials shall be used. (1) Pipes: Hot Dipped Galvanized Carbon Steel Pipes: Hot-dip galvanized, beveled-end seamless carbon steel pipes of various sizes. Pipes shall be of make M/s Maharashtra Seamless Ltd. (MSL) / M/s Jindal, complying with the following standards: - Material to API 5L Grade B PSL-1 / ASME SA-106 Grade B / ASTM A106 Grade B / ASTM A53 Grade B; Dimensions to ANSI B36.10; Galvanizing to ASTM A123. (2) Bends: Hot Dipped Galvanized Carbon Steel Bends: Hot-dip galvanized Seamless carbon steel bends complying with the following standards: - Material to ASTM A234 Gr. WPB; Dimensions to ANSI B 16.9; Galvanizing to ASTM A123. (3) Flanges: Carbon Steel Flanges: RF/FF flanges Confirming to ASTM A105 / SA 105 and dimensions conforming to ASME/ANSI B16.5 of pressure class 150 lbs with 3mm thick neoprene/asbestos gaskets of suitable grade, fastened using suitable carbon steel bolts, nuts and washers, as directed by EIC. (4) Welding & Clamping: Pipes to be welded using E-6010 / E-6011 / E-6012 / E-6013 electrodes of make M/s Ador / Advani / D&H / Phillips and to be supported with suitable 'U' clamps of minimum thickness 8 mm on mild steel structural frame work / tee supports. (5) Painting: Pipes to be painted with two coats of Polyurethane Enamel paint over one coat of suitable primer after proper surface preparation to the satisfaction of EIC. (6) Inspection Requirements: All CS HDG pipes along with elbows shall be galvanized only after inspection and acceptance in accordance with relevant standards. The inspection shall include verification of the original Manufacturer s Test Certificates (MTC) from the OEM and testing certificates from a NABL-accredited laboratory. The inspection shall be carried out at the vendor s site prior to galvanization, and only after compliance with all inspection requirements shall galvanization be undertaken. (7) Testing & commssioing: (a) DP test to be carried out on 10% of the weld joints as decided by EIC.; (b) Pipeline to be tested segment wise hydraulically at a pressure of 16 bar for a minimum of 30 minutes followed by flushing and commissioning. (8) Documents to be submitted: (a) Original manufacturer's test certificates of the pipes supplied.; (b) Pipe sample(s) as per IS 4711 to be tested at MSME or NABL accredited laboratory for its mechanical & chemical properties.; (c) Hot Dip Galvanizing Quality Assurance Certificate.; (d) ITI welder certificate / IBR welder certificate to be submitted for the engaged welders. The quoted unit rate shall include the cost of all materials, consumables, labour, tools, tackles, scaffolding, testing, and other incidental works required for satisfactory completion, as directed by the EIC. | ||

(3) Flanges: (a) Carbon Steel Flanges: RF/FF flanges Confirming to ASTM A105 / SA 105 and dimensions conforming to ASME/ANSI B 16.5 of pressure class 150 lbs with 3mm thick neoprene/asbestos gaskets of suitable grade, fastened using suitable carbon steel bolts, nuts and washers, as directed by EIC.; (b) Stainless Steel Flanges: RF/FF flanges Confirming to ASTM A182 / ASME SA182 and dimensions conforming to ASME/ANSI B 16.5 of pressure class 150 lbs with 3mm thick neoprene gaskets of suitable grade, fastened using suitable carbon steel bolts, nuts and washers, as directed by EIC. (4) Welding & Clamping: Pipes to be welded using E-6010 / E-6011 / E-6012 / E-6013 / E-308L / E-309L electrodes of make M/s Ador / Advani / D&H / Phillips and to be supported with suitable 'U' clamps of minimum thickness 8 mm on mild steel structural frame work / tee supports. (5) Painting (Except SS Pipes): Pipes to be painted with two coats of Polyurethane Enamel paint over one coat of suitable oil based primer after proper surface preparation to the satisfaction of EIC. (6) Testing & Commissioing: (a) DP test to be carried out on 10% of the weld joints as decided by EIC.; (b) Pipeline to be tested segment wise hydraulically at a pressure of 16 bar for a minimum of 30 minutes followed by flushing and commissioning.
