| 1 | General Notes: 1. The contractor shall follow relevant IS codes/technical specifications for execution of work. 2. All safety & security regulations shall be followed strictly as per specifications & conditions of contract. 3. The contractor shall provide sleeveless Jackets to the workers in required pattern, colour showing name of contractor with address and telephone number as approved by the Engineer in charge. All the workers must wear the same while on duty. 4. Contractor has to make his own arrangements for regulating the work by providing sign boards for Diversion, Men at Work. Danger, Work in progress, Diversions/ Change of Directions etc. at his own cost during exectutuion of work as directed by the Department. 5. The contractor shall maintain good workman ship and follow safe working procedures during the work. 6. Rates are inclusive of Scaffolding for all items for all heights and depths. 7. Considering the exigencies of the work, site will be handed over in phased manner as per the progress of the work. 8. Cutting of chases in walls/floor and making good the same including providing GI chicken mesh (if required) for electrical conduits/ switchboards/ fittings/ utility lines etc. shall be done by contractor whwerever required at no extra cost as directed by EIC. 9. All items are inclusive of working under and in foul positions, muddy area etc., including pumping of water and no extra cost shall be paid for the same. 10. Waterproofing works shall be carried out by specialised agency having similar work experience and shall be gotten approved by EIC. | ||

| 3 | Excavation in Trenches/foundation for septic tanks, pipes, sewers, storm water drains, footings etc in all soils except soft and hard rock at all depths from average ground level including dewatering if necessary, dressing bottom to required level, profile/slope, clearing of all the areas involving excavation of all grass,rank vegetation, shrubs,bushes,cutting of trees upto 300mm grith measured at 1.0 mtr above ground level disposing the soil within a distance of 50m, complete as directed. | 750 | CUM |
| 4 | Filling available excavated earth in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, levelling, for all leads within NFC and lifts as directed by EIC. | 450 | CUM |
| 5 | Lead charges over initial leads, including loading, unloading, stacking, the disposable Earth, rock, concrete, debris etc. by Mechanical transport for all leads within NFC, complete as directed by EIC. Note: Measurement of lead charges will be based on truck/ tractor measurements with deduction of voids @20% and 50% for soils and rocks or debris respectively. | 450 | CUM |
