| 2 | Photo Voltaic (PV) Modules :- The PV modules must conform to the latest edition of any of the following IEC/equivalent capacity of 540/545/535 Wp solar photo voltaic modules,BIS Standards for PV module design qualification and type approval: Mono Crystalline Silicon Terrestrial. Crystalline silicon solar cell modules conforms IEC 61215 / BIS 14286, Thin film modules IEC 61646 / Equivalent BIS, Concentrated PV modules IEC 62108 / Equivalent BIS, PV modules (for contruction & safety) must conforms IEC 61730 (Part I & II )/ Equivalent BIS., PV modules corrosive atmosphere IEC 61701 / BIS 61701, PV module in sandy environment must conform IEC 600068-2-68. | ||
| 3 | Each PV module must use a RF identification tag (RFID),which must contain the following information: (i) Name of the manufacturer of PV Module (ii) Name of the Manufacturer of Solar cells (iii) Month and year of the manufacture(separately for solar cells and module) (iv) Country of origin : Make in INDIA only . (v) I-V curve for the module (vi) Peak Wattage, Im, Vm and FF for the module (vii) Unique Serial No and Model No of the module (viii)Date and year of obtaining IEC PV module qualification certificate (ix) Name of the test lab issuing IEC certificate (x) Other relevant information on traceability of module as per ISO 9000 series.Note:RFID shall be mandatorily placed inside the module laminate. (xi) Makes of panels provided shall confirm to MNRE specifications/standards and must be registered in the ALIMM. (XII) 0.25% spare quantity of modules shall be provided by the contractor for repair/ replacemnt purpose. (xiii) Additional modules shall be provided by the contractor to meet t the specified power output, in case the requied output is not achieved during testing and commissioning, at no extra cost. (xiv) Each PV module used in any solar power project must have and RF identification tag. (xv) Any damage done to water proofing/roof structure/ Galvalume Sheet during installation shall be made good by the contractor at no extra cost. (xvi) An indicative single line diagram is attached herewith as per Appendix 'A'. However the detailed drawings shall be provided by the contractor as per the specifications of the contract for approval of the Accepting Officer. (xvii) All drawing shall be submitted with in one month, and necessory approval from the Accepting Officer shall be obtained prior tothe actual commencement of the work. (xviii) Any other item/work requied for the successfull commissioning of the project. Nothing extra shall be paid. (xix) The contractor shall inform to the CWE/GE for pre-dispatch inspection of solar modules at factory premises. The factory inspection and testing shall be carried out by the nominated rep of accepting officer. The inspection & testing at work site after installation arragement shall be made by the contractor and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the contractor. | ||
| 4 | Authorised testing laboratories /centre: PV modules must qualify (enclose test reports/certificate from IEC/NABL accredited laboratory) as per relevant IEC standard.Qualification certificate from IEC/NABL accredited laboratory as per relevant standard for any of the higher wattage regular module should be acompanied with the STC report/certificate. For details of Test Labs refer Ministry of New And Renewable Energy website. The report submitted should not be older than 1 year. | ||
| 5 | PV modules used in solar power plants/ systems must be designed for their output peak watt capacity, which should not be less than 90% at the end of 10 years and 80% at the end of 25 years. PV modules shall have product warranty of 10 years after completion of work. Contractor shall obtain the warranty certificate from the manufacturer and will submit the same to the Eng-in-charge by the contractor. |
