(i) Class certificates to be submitted in original for all materials used for repair. | 4 | Underwater hull, side shell, above-water hull, main deck, superstructure and other accessible steel surfaces, shall be thoroughly scraped, chipped, wire-brushed and mechanically cleaned, as required, to remove marine fouling, rust, scale, loose/defective paint and other contaminants, and suitably prepared for inspection and painting. After satisfactory surface preparation, all designated surfaces shall be painted with three (03) coats, comprising one (01) coat of primer and two (02) coats of finishing paint, as required as directed by the IWT Surveyor/EIC. | 1000 | Sqr.
