| 1 | Supply and installation and commissioning in replacement of 30 M Self-Supported Chimney including platform as per manufacturer design , sampling port, ladder, protection rings, lightning arrestor, Aviation lights with earthing, 3mm thick rubber lining from inside, with GI earthing strip and specified foundation work with stainless steel foundation bolts including taking down old chimney and deposit to MES store yard complete all as specified and as directed. Top dia - 300 mm dia with 6 mm Thick plate 10 Mtrs (Conical shape) Bottom dia- 600 mm 8 mm Thick plate 20 Mtrs Total portion of the chimney shall be in 06 parts of 5 mtrs length. Bottom dia 600 mm reducing to 300 mm towords top portion. The chimney shall be suitable the existing oilfired incinerator of cap 25 Kg/Hrs and contractor shall be take approval from accepting officer before the execution of work and including the following:- (a) Earthing of lightning arrester shall be strip earthing with size of 32 x 6 mm as per SSR Part I electrical plate No. 3 (b) LED Aviation light to be provided on the top of chimney with GI Earthing. (c) Hood on top to be provided to protect the rain water enter inside the chimney. (d) Foundation :- It shall be capable of complete withstand the wind speed of the Naval base Kochi area and as per OEM specifications including RCC/PCC earthwork complete and same shall be deemed in the quoted rate. (e) The chimney shall be manufactured and installed as per the Hospitals norms /guidlines and OEM reccomendations standardes/Norms. (f) Anchoring of rope with suitable size and length not less than 4 Nos and fixing arrangements including excavation and RCC/PCC complete earthwork and same shall be deemed in the quoted rate. | 1.00 | Each Job |
| 2 | (g) Warrenty of external painting should be min 2 years. (h) All T&P used for dismantling and fixing of Chimney should be provided by the contractor without extra cost to the department. (j) The cost of dismantling, taking down and transportation of existing old chimney from Sanjivani and depositng in MES store yard shall be deemed in the quoted rate. (k) If any extra materials/Items to be required for smoothly functioning of the chimney, contractor shall be provided without any extra cost to the department. | ||
