| 1 | Charges for attending and rectification of faults in street lights, high mast poles, playfield lighting poles, control boxes and timer boxes anywhere in the IIT Madras campus, including fuse-off calls, replacement of spares, shifting/re-fixing of light fittings, cleaning and tightening of electrical connections, attending cable faults and carrying out all necessary works to restore the lighting system to fully operational condition. The contractor shall arrange the suitable access equipment throughout the contract period, comprising a power truck with ladder arrangement / hydraulic lift/bucket-type access vehicle for attending faults on street light poles up to 9 m height and playfield lighting poles up to 12 m height. Manual ladders shall not be permitted for attending faults on street light poles and playfield lighting poles. The contractor shall deploy a minimum of 2 qualified electricians and 2 helpers, in addition to the required qualified driver for the respective access vehicle. The quoted rate shall be inclusive of all manpower, power truck with ladder/ hydraulic lift/bucket vehicle, fuel, etc., and all other incidental charges as required. | 15 | Month |

The driver shall be of reputed make and compatible with the existing LED fitting. | ||
